Adam Kern

Adam is an Actor, Director and Producer. He is the Director and Co-Creator of Shadow of the Run Chapter 1: WanderLust, Cleveland’s first full Immersive Theatre production, based on the Eliot Ness Investigation of the Cleveland Torso Murders. Chapter 1 ran in July of 2019, and he and his team and co-creators are developing the next few chapters in the Torso Cycle. Railroaded: A Shadow of the Run Story, an immersive pop-up Adam co-produced played in January 2020, and Shadow of the Run Chapter 2: Wit/Ness will premier in 2023, which Adam will direct. He directed immersive elements for The 5th Avenue Theatre’s 2022 Annual Gala.

Seattle Theatre acting debut with Witness Immersive‘s Last Days of the Tsars at the Stimson Green Mansion, in February 2020, three months after moving to Seattle, and sadly 1 month before the pandemic shut down. Other Seattle credits include Krapp’s Last Tape, which Adam staged and performed.

Producing credits include The Water Dream, starring Anthony Rapp and J. Robert Spencer, and Liz Femi’s 2014 NAACP Theatre Award nominated Take Me To The Poorhouse. He has produced and staged over twenty readings, half a dozen workshops, three benefits and four full productions.

Adam has performed internationally at the Moscow Art Theatre, and at the Old Vic through Kevin Spacey’s TS Eliot Fellowship. Regionally he has worked at the Los Angeles Philharmonic and their Toyota Symphonies for Youth, the American Repertory Theatre and the Classical Theatre of Harlem.
