Ally Poole

Ally Poole is a Seattle-based actor, sound artist and educator who received an MFA in Advance Theatre Practice from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She is a co-collaborator of the female-led, experimental theatre collective, Hot Cousin and is the Public Works Manager at Seattle Rep. Previously, Ally was on the acting faculty at Ohio University and was the Associate Artistic Director of Tantrum Theater. A multidisciplinary artist working between the US and the UK, Ally’s solo work is a blend of live and sound art, theatre and installation, covering issues of race, politics, and pop culture through her perspective as a Black woman in America. In 2022, Ally was named an Emerging Theater Leader by the International Association of Theater Leaders. Ally received a BFA in Acting from Stephens College and enjoys her career as an actor across theatre, film, musical theatre, and opera.
