Originally from Virginia, Jim came out West in the Navy and worked for local Governments and non-profits. Jim rediscovered his first love, the theater, later in life, but has been working to hone his craft. Theater is a labor of love and, if done well, a gift from the actor to the world. Creating characters which are real and believable and can help the audience become involved in the experience. If you can evoke an emotional response from even one member of the audience you have succeeded, how much better when the entire audience is involved.
"I garden for my Sanity, volunteer for Humanity and act for Fun. Hence my mantra: Sanity - Humanity - Fun, I worked all my life with that in mind, now I'm concentrating on the Fun, but the other two are essential. Everyone's idea of fun is different, but it's about perspective."
