Nava is a Seattle-based youth actor with significant professional and youth theater experience and ongoing camera, vocal, voiceover, acting, and dance training.
2017-2019 roles included
- Matilda in the West Coast Premiere of Matilda the Musical at Village Theatre, for which she won the Gregory Awards People's Choice Award, and was nominated for the BroadwayWorld Awards;
- Little Joe in the World Premiere of Black Beauty at Seattle Children's Theatre;
- Scout in To Kill a Mockingbird at Edmonds Driftwood Players;
- Elizabeth Cratchit in A Christmas Carol at ACT Theatre;
- Gemma in the World Premiere of Flight Before Xmas at Seattle Public Theatre.
She also continues to do film, commercial, and voiceover work.
Nava is a natural and nuanced actor with strong instincts around character definition and strong cold reading skills. She takes direction and can repeat it each time, asks questions, and can make independent choices as needed. She's serious and focused, and integrates easily with casts of adult and youth/teen actors.
