Rebecca Cort

Rebecca is an Armenian-American actor and singer in the Pacific Northwest. She got her acting degree from Western Washington University. Her artistic life thrives through a sense of belonging and community, and she’s known for her abundant onstage energy, power, presence, conviction, and comedy. She also has a passion for puppeteering Audrey II plants.

Rebecca will make her Taproot debut in The Hello Girls as Suzanne this summer, and has other exciting upcoming projects to be announced as well.

Her recent credits include Into the Woods at the 5th Avenue Theatre covering Little Red, Florinda, Lucinda, and Rapunzel after debuting the previous year in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast as a Silly Girl and covers for Babette and Chip. Other favorites include Brooke in Noises Off at Harlequin Productions, U/S Sally in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown at Village Theatre, and Citizen 5 in Citizen: An American Lyric at Sound Theatre, which won the 2019 Gregory Award for Outstanding Ensemble. She sings with The Memphis Belles and Tweenland with Naomi Morgan Entertainment.
