Brian Brooks

Brian is a Seattle resident with a long history of acting. He studied acting in Colorado and performed in the Denver community from 2006 – 2014. Among his favorite Denver roles were Jack in Incorruptible, Austin in True West, The Little Tuna in Den of Thieves, & David in Earth and Sky.

Brian moved to Seattle in 2014 with his incredible wife, Cat. Since then he made appearances in such plays as Reckless, Leaving Iowa, & A Steady Rain.

In 2018, after having finished a certificate program in clean energy technology and sustainable business, Brian and a few of his friends decided to start an acting group known as The Blue Hour Theatre.

The shows are specific to environmental changes, political satire & the struggles humans face as a result.

In 2019, the inaugural show for Blue Hour Theatre was Two Degrees by Tira Plamquist. In 2022, Blue Hour returned with a comedy known as Boom by Peter Nachtrieb. And in 2024, the troupe has plans for an original ‘bubonic comedy’ titled The Plague Master General.
