IT’S OFFICIAL – Unexpected Productions’ Improvised Hip Hopera will hit the stage this SPRING!

Join us at the Improvised Hip Hopera auditions on Saturday, Jan 18th from 12-4pm at Unexpected Productions’ Market Theatre.

Since 2014, Improvised Hip Hopera has been taking the Pacific Northwest by storm. We are seeking talented people with a passion for hip hop/music/improv to join us for the Spring 2020 run.

Shows will be Fri/Sat 8:30pm from March 20th – May 9th at the Market Theatre. Rehearsal attendance required – dates tbd.

An Improvised Hip Hopera is a high-energy show that features completely improvised hip hop, music, beats, characters, dancing and narrative, usually featuring a hero’s rise and then fall mixed with villians, crime, betrayal, sex and love.

Audition requirements

Please email ImprovisedHH@gmail.com to sign up for auditions or for more information. Auditions are 12-2pm and 2-4pm on Jan 18th at the Market Theatre. Please indicate if you prefer a specific timeslot, and be prepared to show up early to fill out a casting sheet and warm-up. Please also include your hip hop/improv background and headshot if you have one.
