ABOUT THE SHOW: Coming to the Triple Door this summer, an original burlesque cabaret by Opal Peachey and Mark Siano “The Fairy’s Bottom.” You’ll be transported over hill, over dale, through bush and briar to witness Titania and her fairies BEFORE everything goes sideways Shakespeare style.
Shows July 6-16. Visit www.bit.ly/bottomfairy to view full performance schedule.
The hitmakers behind Bohemia, Seattle Vice, and Twister Beach have created a comedic romp that tells the tales of the Bard with a sartorial twist. Fairy's Bottom will be performed live with original music played by a rocking four piece band. Expect the unexpected for Midsummer; bring us your fairies, nymphs, dryads, and flower dances around the maypole (yes we’re also parodying Midsommar).
We want to see your take on the classic. Nothing is sacred. We are ready to build our existing script around our performer’s talents and we can’t wait to see who is interested in this show!

Please send your headshot (or a recent photo) and resume to opalpeachey@gmail.com In addition, send us a 1-5 minute video of you in rehearsal or performance if you have one, youtube link is easiest, or google drive. We will then schedule an in-person audition/interview or zoom (if out of towner). Some roles will not require an in-person audition, see role description for specifics.
For the roles of Mustardseed, Peaseblossom and Cobweb, auditions will be previously filmed acts of performance or rehearsal that you submit with your audition request for consideration. You are highly encouraged to come to your audition time to chat with us, so we can give you an idea of the production and the process. This should take about 15 minutes of your time.
If you don't have a filmed existing act, and you'd like to use your audition time to show us the act, let us know. We will have a speaker available.
For the role of Puck, send us a video of your skill in rehearsal or performance if you have one with your audition request. If you don't have a video to send, let us know your special skill. For the Puck auditions, we will send you a side and short song to learn for your audition. We will provide piano accompaniment for the short musical excerpt. If the performer wants to sing another song, it will need to be either A cappella or with a pre-recorded track.
