Casting call for Music Video
About the project and the company
Music video, “Resolutions”, seeks a female actor, 25-40, any race, to play Stacey: an ambitious co-worker who doesn’t understand the life of an artist. Non-union. Compensation $200.
About the project: The tone for the music video is light-hearted and a little bit magical. It takes place in an office where Kim tries to hang onto her hope and creative vision despite the repetition and monotony of her job.
The Smokey Brights are a Seattle-based band, frequently featured on KEXP and loved around the world. Their music is “a stoney blend of Northwest rock and roll and razor-sharp Disco grooves.” Their next album, Levitator (which includes the song “Resolutions”), will be coming out in summer 2023.
The production team leading this project has worked together for the past 5 years on feature films, commercial ads, short film projects and music videos. Their last music video for the Smokey Brights “72” was promoted by Rolling Stone – France and MTV.
