About the project and the company

Have you always dreamt of creating magic with your favorite fairytale characters?

We, Seattle’s Princesses and The Painted Palace, are holding open call auditions for a large variety of character performers, party assistants, and painters!

Our performers and party hosts perform as classic fairytale characters, super heroes, original characters, and more at both private parties and large scale events at our Bellevue venue and across the greater Seattle Area. We offer over 50 different characters and many different types of event types which allows us to feature our performers in a variety of roles.

Open auditions will be held on March 12th at 1:30pm at The Painted Palace in Bellevue, WA (1813 130th Ave NE #210 Bellevue, WA 98005)

Location of Audition

The Painted Palace 1813 130th Ave NE #210 Bellevue, WA 98005 Please be prepared to read or speak lines, answer group interview questions, and do basic movement with or in front of the group. If you would like to audition for a singing role, please prepare a one minute cut of any upbeat musical theatre song.

Other details

Our basic audition will last 30-45 minutes, and a select number of candidates may be invited to stay for a secondary interview and/or wig fitting.

Audition requirements

The ideal candidates will meet the following criteria: -Be comfortable speaking and/or performing in front of a crowd -Enjoy working with kids -Have reliable transportation -Weekend availability at least 2 weekends per month -Able to provide great customer service -Experience public speaking, performing, singing, dancing, and/or acting -Be open to performing as a character impersonator and/or lead a party as an assistant, host, or artist -Have an excitement for spreading joy and magic -Be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements/safety guidelines and have the right to work in Washington State.
