We are looking for choreographers/dancers to submit new, original dance pieces to be included in the show. With this show we focus on solos, duets, and tightly-knit small groups. If you are a choreographer and need additional dancers for your piece, you can indicate as such in your submission. Rehearsal process is handled by individual choreographers but we do offer limited support.
This is a non-profit showcase, and we are offering a small honorarium based on box office performance. You will also receive a professional video recording of your performance.

Dare to Dance is a nonprofit organization that provides professional-quality opportunities for dance enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels to create, perform, connect, and grow. Since 2010, we have produced 11 full shows (10 stage shows and 1 virtual), and fostered a vibrant creative community.
For “Dare to Dance 12: Intimate Stories” (working title), we are doing something different by choosing our smallest venue ever – TPS Theatre 4 – and focusing on small-scale dance pieces.
Artists of all ages, experience levels, and dance styles are welcome to apply! Program selection will be based on four criteria: Storytelling, Innovation, Representation, and Collaboration.
Time commitments:
Sun 4/30 afternoon/evening, tech rehearsal
Thu 5/4 evening, preview performance
Fri 5/5 evening, performance
Sat 5/6 afternoon & evening, performances
If you're unavailable for one of the performance, it might still be possible to participate.
