An aspiring director in his late 20s, J.P. Harris has a modest following in the film world. Yet he lives his life as he lives/ directs his movies, with a unique tone and sense of self-importance. Although once a humble filmmaker, Harris’ big breaks before have left him with an insatiable thirst for success and the adoration that comes with comes with it.

A mid-20s moviegoer who’s obsessed with the work of mediocre J.P. Harris. They are over-eager and want to become a famous director one day. He considers himself an aspiring director who alternately spends his weekends in the cinema and antique bookstores. He has a bit of an “amateur magician” type persona — perhaps a little slick and sneaky.
