Producers of “Spectacles of Ecdysiastic Pageantry” Lily Verlaine and Jasper McCann are casting a swing/understudy host for their 2023 season of Land of The Sweets: The Burlesque Nutcracker. (Rehearsals November 3-November 30 Performances December 1-28) https://www.landofthesweets.com/
Land of The Sweets includes elements of burlesque, ballet, musical theater, and vaudeville. We seek an experienced host to cover Friday and Saturday shows as the personality who introduces acts, warms the audience, maintains audience enthusiasm and sings holiday-themed songs. Some dancing is required. This is a scripted role with some improvisation built in.
This is a paid, contract employment opportunity. Show pay will be $200 per show if performed, plus rehearsal stipend and audience gratuities.

Land of The Sweets: The Burlesque Nutcracker is in its 18th season at The Triple Door in Seattle.
