Synopsis:
“You’ll See” is a film that focuses on a young couple staying in an Air BnB. Doug is upset that losing his job has caused the couple to have to cancel an exciting but expensive European vacation. Kim, his girlfriend, is trying to cheer him up with a trip they both know is a weak substitution for the trip they both would have preferred. However, the house they are staying in reveals itself, through a guestbook, to have magical powers. Kim embraces this adventure at home almost immediately. Doug takes some convincing, but eventually they both find the house takes them places they never could have imagined.

Character BIOS

Kim is a young woman who doesn’t take life too seriously. She tries to have fun even when circumstances aren’t going well. She generally sees the bright side of most situations. She is also thoughtful and intelligent. She has been with her boyfriend, Doug, for a few years and they have developed a playful, easy going, but loving relationship. She usually dresses casually but always has a sense of style. This doesn’t mean she doesn’t like to go all out with a fancy, well put together, outfit now and then, even if it isn’t for a big night out.

Doug is a young man who is still figuring out his place in the world. He is usually easygoing and fun to be around, but losing his job has left him feeling unsure of himself and like he is letting his girlfriend, Kim, down. More than anything, he wants Kim to be happy because he loves her and she makes him feel good about himself. He didn’t want to go on the short trip close to home because he feels like it is a big come down from the big trip he’d hoped to take with Kim. This would have been the first big international trip they would have taken together. He is depressed about not being able to go and trying not to show this to Kim, but he can’t help showing it sometimes. He prefers dressing casual but, like Kim, also has his own sense of style. He might pretend he doesn’t want to, but he also like to dress up every once in a while.
