Youth Theatre Northwest if seeking part time Technical Director. It is an hourly, project-based position and requires daytime availability.

Youth Theatre Northwest is located on Mercer Island and serves students ages 3-18, providing education and production opportunities.

Youth Theatre Northwest nurtures the intellectual, artistic, and personal development of children and youth through drama education, performing opportunities, and live theatre experiences.

Job Description

Position will include: • Correspondence with the production team via email throughout the production process in and attend production meetings as needed. • Corresponding with the set designer and coordinate with the Facility Managers to prepare for the build/load in • To be onsite for up to 60 hours over two weeks for load in/tech notes. • Set up of any technical equipment needed for the production. • Checking performance reports and come in for any necessary repairs. • To be onsite for strike/turn over. Starting date: November 15th. $16-$18/hour pending experience. No benefits. Required Qualifications

- Prior technical director theatre experience. - Ability to lead and facilitate load-in and build.
