Biography
Cristin’s early love of singing and performing led to a career on Broadway where she performed in The Phantom of the Opera and The Pirate Queen. Originally from Michigan, she is a graduate of Seattle University’s MFA in Arts Leadership program, and holds degrees in Theater and Vocal Performance from Oberlin College and Conservatory. She moved to Seattle in 2014 after spending 18 years in New York City. She is passionate about the inclusion of diverse artists at all stages of theater creation and critically examining how theater is generated, produced, viewed, and incorporated into the fabric of life. She has appeared onstage locally at the 5th Avenue Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre and at Seattle Public Theater as Amelia Earhart in Vanishing Point. She is a parent, educator, arts advocate, and proud member of Actors’ Equity Association.
